👃 -Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, is an allergic reaction that occurs when the body comes into contact with an allergen, such as pollen, dust, or pet dander. 👃 -You may experience some of the symptoms below: +Sneezing +Stuffy nose or runny nose, congestion +Itchy nose, eye, or throat +Typically, more than 7 days of continuous symptoms ❌ Go to emergency if you are experiencing any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction such as: • Difficulty breathing or wheezing • Swelling of face, mouth or throat • Feeling dizzy or lightheaded, or fainting • Skin that is cool, moist, and usually pale -Pharmacists can now assess and prescribe medications to treat Allergic rhinitis. -This is not to replace physicians, but it will help to reduce workload and wait times to see a doctor for major ailments. -This service is covered by OHIP = Ontario health card -Do not have a health card? If you don't have a valid Ontario Health Card (OHIP), Professional fees apply. -Please book an appointment online. -Appointment options will be in person, virtually, over the phone. -Please note, registering for this service does not guarantee a prescription. -Your pharmacist will assess if they can prescribe a treatment option or if a referral to a physician may be necessary.
